    Description

    1958 Harley Davidson Ironhead Sportster XLCH, runs and drives well. Recently changed oil, and carburetor and tank have been thoroughly cleaned recently. This is 1 of 239 XLCH Sportsters made in 1958. Engine has been bored to 1000 cc. Titled as assembled 1982. Frame was modified to a hardtail. Headlight works. Note: The mileage listed is actually hours on the engine. (Didn't know how to clarify that on the form.) Son worked on this as part of his senior advanced engines class and for a 4-H project. (Won a blue ribbon for engines work and a restoration prize if anyone cares :). Not in budget to keep with engineering studies coming up, though. Please plan on local pickup in Dallas County, Iowa.
