Limited Edition of only 70 pens produced worldwide, and this is 01 of 70!!!  From the chocolate ceramic PVD coating and faceted with twelve perfectly aligned sides, it has a comfortable, although not unwieldy, oversized dimension at 150 mm x 17 mm diameter
(or to make it simple, bigger than a Montblanc 149).  Further, unique aluminum ink feeder made from Boeing aircraft specs, supply the unparalleled #8 large Magic Flex nib with a steady inky flow. The faceted body somewhat resembles the Omas Arco Big Paragon, or I have taken a picture with a Lamy Safari to supply a sense of scale.
Condition:  This pen is only "used" in the sense that it has been inked once.  Otherwise, it is a new pen, and highly collectible.  I purchased this pen as an investment piece, and am only selling it early out of necessity.  Number 1 of 70, this has one  one of the best nibs available, the #8 Magic Flex, and thus makes this a 'Grail Pen' for even the most discerning collector.  Production ceased a few years ago, so this edition with its larger, more sensitive nib, is particularly scarce.
Filling System Superior to Other ASC Pens:  I actually have two of the Bologna Extra Arcos by Armando Simoni Club, and what makes this pen superior to that legendary pen, is that this Il Gladiatore has a more sensible filling system, activated by twisting the top section of the pen in a clockwise motion.  I find this to be more convenient, especially as the ink capacity is approximately the same size as the Bologna Extra Arco.
