Beautiful Handmade Artisan Leather "Concord" Travel Pen Case - Lucas Engineering

This is a Lucas Engineering Fountain Pen Travel Case handmade by Edd Lucas of Indianapolis back in the 1990's. They were made to order with a limit of 75 but I don't know how many were actually produced. This was delivered in March of 1997.
The engineering is actually remarkable. The lid seal is so snug Edd designed in thumb grips on each of the front corners to facilitate opening. The grooved bottom tray that holds 10 pens is spring loaded to keep them from shifting and the underside of the top panel is cushioned leather. The 10 grooves will accommodate pens up to 7" long and 0.85" or 22mm diameter.
Inner dimensions are 9.75" wide x 7.25" tall, outer dimensions are roughly 11.5" x 8.5" x 2.5"
These sold for 0 back in 1997, you can't get them anymore and this is in mint condition. Truly elegant.
