Description
Eagle metal fountain pen parts. Note to buyers: all nibs were gold plated with plating gone. A hex and a round pen cap for the early glass cartridge pens. Early chased over metal pen-looks to have had a bladder in it that was squeezed to fill after taking barrel off. Chasing enamel off in places and nib broken off. Orange enamel pen with correct cap. Bits of enamel off in places and feed is damaged-left it in the pen in case buyer needs to see what it looked like. Decent early Eagle add on clip with most of gold plating intact. Pen was a coin filler. Orange enamel barrel is a lever pen. Most of the enamel is present with spots missing on the end. Nib and feed intact with nib rusty. Chased gold plated pen and cap intact. Usual plating wear. No dings. Lever has been tried out, probably at a flea market by some nimrod and it is bent in the middle. Nib complete and useable. Final is an unusual barrel with gold plating and a diamond pattern. This is the only example I ran across and never found a cap. Nib and feed intact. Nice group of turn of the 20th century pen parts.Writing sample taken by dip testing the nib
